Im a PJ no more :D

I can control myself, I dont run out and buy every product someone raves about.. It took me 2 years on this board to get over it .. but I am :yay:

Only things I am interested in buyin are Pure Refined CoConut oil and a good moisturizer..

Other than that Im CURED!

Good for you!!

...and I am with you. I think that some of it comes from finding things that work for and dealing with enough crap that does nothing.

I have found things that do the job everytime and I am afraid of straying away from that now.

Besides, there are so many good products out here - there is no need to try ALL of them.

i think the first step is

finding what works for you, and if it works dont go out trying to find something that might work better...

Dont buy anything until you are out of a product.. i.e. I want to try a different shampoo, but Im not gonna buy another one until my CON is gone :)

Buying large sizes of your staples helps too :D

btw.. I used that SAO after the shower (on my body) and it works splendiferic!

So can you give the 12 step program for Reforming PJ's! (for dummies of course! :sekret:)

Poo - CON Green
Cond - Motions Moisture Plus
Leave In - Thermasilk Detangling Leave In
Moist - Keracare Moisturizer w/ JoJoba
Oil - Kemi
Serums - Anyone that is on sale pretty much ...I like Fantasia IC's serums/heat protectors/hair polishes the best!

Kudos to you !!! So which products are your staples now?

Isn't it great. Girl, I remember back in the day when I used to be a pj. Today, I can't tell you the last time I purchased something new. I have what I need, and I seem to be happy with that. Congratulations.

Congrats to you Khandi for getting over being a PJ. Please provide counseling for those trying to go into rehab. I have been on LHCF for almost three years and I can't control myself and I have my staples also but I have an itch to try something. The only time I (try) to resist temptation is when my hair is in braids sometimes I break out and buy things because "I will need it when I take my hair down. Last night I counted all of my conditioners just conditioners: 20 oy!

I'm almost there. There's actually only a few things I want to get otherwise I'm keeping with my staples. I usually buy a hair product every week or 2 weeks but I haven't bought anything in almost a month. That's a first for me.

O.k......I'm going to give myself a few more months to find my staples and then I'm joining rehab!
I'm still pretty new here ya know.....I just joined in July and I'm having a ball trying out new stuff! :D
I'm also transitioning so I need to find products that work well for the two textures. :)
Alright, enuff excuses! where's the signup sheet for rehab? :look:

When you find the signup sheet, let me know. I soo need to go.:)

I am a PJ but since trying the PHYTOSPECIFIC line I'm FINALLY satisfied, I used their conditoner, leave in and moisturizing balm and my hair came out FAB. I will purchase their poo and that will be IT for me..:)

I think I'm getting over my pj thing too but I'm not quite there yet. I've been a pj since before hair boards so it'll take awhile, lol.

Oh, coconut oil is great if you decide to give in to the urge. I'm lovin it. I just bought the unrefined kind and I always heard raves but never knew it was so good. I'm not trying to mess you up either Khandi
