I have another question about Clarifying...

For those of you who wash with a clarifying shampoo once in a while would you go behind that and do a protein hot or treatment or something kind of moisturizing regimen? I was wondering you did anything afterward other than using normal conditoner because as I understand it clarifying is supposed to rid the hair of everything that's put in it and to do something else after that would be putting things back in starting the product build-up all over.

i wash about once a month with pantene clarifying shampoo and afterwards i usually use my motions protein conditioner. that's pretty much it.
