I have a jar of KCC sitting around...

...and I have no clue how to use it. I've had it under my sing for a while now. I've been having good results with my Fantasia IC, but since I have KCCC (kinky curly curling custard), I wouldn't mind using it up. I tried maybe 2 or 3 times to use it, but I just couldn't get the proportions right. A lot of people say to use very little, but what is "little" I used a little and it did nothing. I'm afraid to use too much because I've also read that you can get sticky goopy hair that never dries.

Does anyone have any pointers and pictures of results? Please share. Although I'm happy with Fantasia, I do have a full jar of this stuff, I want to get some use out of it especially since so many people have good results with it.

I have a pic in my album of when I used it. At first I thought I liked it but I won't be ordering anymore. It gives nice shine and got rid of frizz but it makes my hair hard after while no matter how much I use. I also just found a great cheap alternative. I bought some back to basics curl activator gel and mixed it with glycerin. It turns into the consistency of kccc and works the same way.

I use my KCCC for twists..... I tried for the shake & go look but wasn't feeling it...maybe when my hair gets longer ....but I used it for a twistout...and it is a staple product for me for twisting...

the results were GREAT ...very shiny..defined, no frizz, w/ lil curl/coils on the end...I love it, the first time I used it I used too much and had the crunchy feel, but now I just apply less and it's not crunchy...I also found that about mid-week I can retwist w/ Curl Junkie leave in(fine)...and they mix well w/ no build up...

I like KCCC because it is clear & watery and it doesn't build up in my hair...I don't like when I use creams & I takw my twists down for a twistout & there are flakes..

Yeah it works good for twists! No frizz, good definition, shine...all the good stuff. I haven't tried it for a wash and go yet...

A little bit for me would be maybe a teaspoonful, for my whole head. I also leave a little V05 conditioner in and that helps some with the crunchies. I usually still have to scrunch them out.

I have used this in the past and I would recommend using it for twists. When I had it, I used it for my wash n goes and it made my curls all stringy looking, like a jherri curl. I know another woman from NC.com said that same thing and she had super big curls, so I knew it wasn't just me. After that she said that she only use it as a leave in and it worked well for her.

Thanks Tene!

Any more responses?

I've had mine for a while also and haven't used it. I'm afraid because of my hair texture similar to Soleado that it will look like a jheri curl also.

I LOVE LOVE  KCCC the key to this product is finding the right amount. Start out using a dime sized amount on each section of hair. I just rake it on the top and a little on the bottom of each section. Its really just trial and error - too much and its sticky, too little and, well, its just a waste!

Good luck;)
