Wow I'm going to keep coming back to this thread when I need inspiration for my braid challenges. Your hair is gorgeous.

Girl that growth is amazing. My mother has been natural for 2 yrs now and her hair is barely shoulder length. Thank for the beautiful NATURAL INSPIRATION!!!!

Your hair is just lovely!!!!:) :)

Your hair is absolutely gorgeous!!!!!! I do have a question though........after growing your hair out for so long and actually retaining so much length why not wear your real hair more often? There are so many things that you could do to your hair with it's length - that would require little to no indirect heat usage. ;) I mean, life is short - you have a crown of glory on top of your head - I say let the world see, be proud, stop hiding it so much! :p

Just my two cents! :)

i agree. you are such an inspiration to me. its looks like our hair type might be similar and i didnt think my hair can grow because it was 4b but you proved to me that it can happen.

Aww everyone thank you so much.

I will be honest, I am nervous to wear it out. I have not learned yet how to actually style my hair. (sad isnt it. :( ) I am afraid that I may damage it like I have done so many times in the past. :(

there is this lady at my job who does baidouts a lot but i dont know if her hair is texturized or just naturally curly. I will ask her for some tips but i do plan to wear my hair out for summer. :)

You are a big inspiration to us, my daughter has natural hair and I am going to follow your regimen on her hair. Just Beautiful. Thanx for posting :D

Wow!! your hair is so beautiful and thick...I'm not natural but seeing your progress is making me think twice.:)...Great job!!!

YOUR HAIR IS DA BOMB!! I've had a weave for a good while now and my natural hair doesn't look half as healthy and beautiful as yours. You are such an inspiration. You keep growing girl!

Congrats!!! Your hair looks beautiful and it's truly an inspiration because I plan to transition for 2 years! Happy hair growing! :ANTLERS:

Beautiful! Congrats. You were the 1st person that I pm'ed here and probably the first album that I saw. You're a great inspiration!!!:D

Its been since earlier this year that I have given the board an update on my progress. I will admit, there has not been much progress because:

1. I have trimmed my hair 4 times since May. Yes I said 4 times.
2. I have not taken any suppliments at all. I have been lazy with that.

So I did a quick glance of my progress and when my hair is stretched, it reaches brastrap. Finally, after 3 years when i cut my hair completely bald to be rid of my perm, i have reached my first goal.

I will put in a sew in weave later this week so I can give my hair a complete rest. I have been sporting a wig for awhile.

Thanks LHCF. So here are some pics from an hour ago.

I miss you guys. :)

This was the very first pic i submitted here when my hair was pressed
