I got my hair done today.. pics included!

I haven't stepped foot in a salon in over 3 years so this was a treat for me. I went to my sister's hairdresser. She posted about her before: http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=430362&highlight=

She applied something to my scalp that really protected it so I didn't burn (something with peppermint oil) and then she used Mizani lye relaxer and Aphogee 2 min reconstructor AND SHE DOESN'T LIKE TO CUT TOO MUCH. I LOVE LOVE LOVE MY HAIR!! She found herself a client for life. It doesn't hurt that she herself has long healthy hair too.

Thank you. Why do you think I haven't been to a salon in 3 years? I'm so glad God put her on our path cause she will be doing my touch ups and trims from now on.

Girl I've been here. Mostly replying to threads not really updating my hair situations. I'm so excited that my hair is growing. Before I got it done it was collarbone length. since she curled it I don't know how long it since she trimmed it but it doesn't look like she cut a lot at all. I'll do another length check in 2 weeks just in time for the APL in '10 challenge update.
