I have decided that I am going to start blow drying my hair as it gets way too knotty this morning and i have decided that its because my hair is not straight thats why its always tangling up. I mean I am losing hair rather that growing hair, my hair is very thick and tieing it up wet does not good for me. What do you guys think????

Beawo, is your hair natural? If your relaxed I suggest you get roller sets instead because blowdrying will eventually cause damage. I know that if you prefer to get your roller set professionaly done it will cause you to wash your hair less often but i personally think you will benefit from them more from blowdrying. Hooded dryers give off less direct heat.

Thanks for the advise. I used to roller set my hair but it used to take for hours to do it.

My hair is relaxed, thats what makes it more annoying, but it feels like its natural. I relax it myself however i obviously don't do a good job because its just really hard to manage.

have you ever considered having your retouch professionally done to see if that makes a difference?

i would limit the amount of blow drying that you do if you do decide to go with that plan. you may still lose hair, but it will be less obvious. ya know?
