I found Elasta QP Mango Butter and...

Supergirl

With Love & Silk
I wanna go back to the store and buy up all the rest! This stuff is wonderful just like you guys said it was! It's a true keeper. Has anyone tried the breakage control serum?

That's where I got it from girl ! So glad that someone local is carrying them now. I hope it's for the long haul--or maybe I need to just go back and get them ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least you'd be getting a pretty good price. $4.49 is the lowest price that I've seen it. Some say that they have seen it at Walmart for about $3.49 but I've not spotted it there and I have looked. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's real nice Supergirl isn't it? The moisture factor is superb and the smell in so many words is /images/graemlins/rosebud.gif I really found a keeper and hope they don't change this formulation.

Hey Amethyst.. so it works great w/ natural hair? I've yet to try the product. But as I'm transitioning, if it's optimal, I'll buy it.

Doesn't that mango butter smell goooooood??? /images/graemlins/smile.gif I finally found it last week and have been using it every day. I keep moving my head around to get wiffs of it during the day. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Laela the product is off the hook! The moisturizing factor alone will make you fall in love with it /images/graemlins/smile.gif And as ny2atl said she moves her head around just to get a whiff of the fragrance; that alone speaks volumes about how nice this product is /images/graemlins/up.gif

Never underestimate the power of a frustrated sister in search of moist ends! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif Based on this thread, I went to the Walgreen's site and saw that they sold it there. So, I took a chance and checked one of the Walgreens in town and...THEY HAVE IT! They only had two jars and I made her take them off the shelf until I can buy them tonight. I am leaving now!

Yay!!! (Now, I hope I like it. I'm being such the PJ! /images/graemlins/wink.gif)

Congrats Lecaste!!!!! /images/graemlins/smile.gif /images/graemlins/smile.gif
I just read your earlier post about not being able to find it and I was about to respond and ask you where you live.
I bought it a couple of weeks ago and like most of the other posters here really, really like it. /images/graemlins/drunk.gif /images/graemlins/drunk.gif
Well let us know your thoughts on it, once you get to use it.

Thanks, Lexi. /images/graemlins/grin.gif Well, I went to Walgreens and bought the two jars and...I LOVE IT!! /images/graemlins/clap.gif It's incredible and my hair feels wonderful. And I like the smell too! It took all I had not to go to every Walgreens in town and scoop up as many jars as I could. (Actually, I am ashamed to say that I just may go buy several more. /images/graemlins/blush.gif)

Thanks for all of the great advice, everyone! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

BTW---approximately how much are you guys using at a time--a dime-sized amount? Smaller? Is your hair damp or dry when you do this?

Fine-haired divas let us know!!

how? i don't think the wgo is horrible, but the mango butter just smells delicious to me. when i first unscrewed that jar lid, i was wishing there was some food, somewhere on earth that smelled this way so i could gobble it up!

I too love the Mango Butter. It was suggested that I get this product and i love it. so far my hair has way less breakage. /images/graemlins/smile.gif it was really dry now i think that it is trying to get some kind of balance.

Maybe by the time you finsh your jar(s), more stores will carry it.

Uh...how about by the time I finish SIX jars? /images/graemlins/blush.gif I kinda sorta went to three more Walgreens until I found more. I figure that I'll have scoped out other retailers by the time I run through that much! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I used about a quarter-sized amount on damp hair tonight. My hair is really thick and sucks up moisture like a sponge. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well, I'm jealous. Maybe by the time you guys finish your jars, I'll be able to find it or I guess I'll have to order it online. I can't believe that you can get it at Walgreens and Walmart and when I called them not one of them has heard of the product line here in OH. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Are there any fine- haireds that use this (Armyqt? Maybe? Maybe? /images/graemlins/grin.gif )?

I want to try this stuff but if it's heavy I have to pass. Is it light consistency or is it pretty thick? Somebody allow me to be down? Please? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

NOOW YOUUU KNOOOW.... being the ever so faithful PJ that I am I have this product!!! Girl go get it. It works very well on wet or dry hair. But do use sparingly on dry hair. A little goes a loong way. And the smell is just heavenly /images/graemlins/smile.gif. So now that you've got an official endorsement...when ya gonna get it, huh, huh? /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Today! You know it! Ray's right down the block has a supply. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the review girlie!

Pebbles listed the following ingedients:

Purified water, squalane (olove oil derived), caprylic/capric triglyceride (coconut oil derived), peg-75 lanolin, behntrimonium methosulfate, hexadecanol, cetearyl alcohol, ceterareth-20, dimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, Mango seed butter, cocoa seed butter, hydrolyzed silk, serica, methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, fragrance, fd&c yellow no.5.

What about the two cones listed? I have read many times to stay away from cones?

Are the two listed okay to use?

I'm gonna try this stuff too (as soon as I get some cash). I didn't like CH HHB, it smells, and it's very heavy. Maybe I'll like the mango butter. And my walmart sells them.

I just bought this yesterday and the smell is amazing.
Unfortunately, my hair didn't take to well to it as a moisturizer. So I will continue to use the Profective Healthy Ends as my primary moisturizer..and use the rest of the mango butter to lightly smooth over my finished hair styles for nice smell purposes! /images/graemlins/grin.gif
