Hi Ladies,

http://public.fotki.com/RabiaElaine/

Well I finally did it! :dance7: Take a look. This is the beginning of my journey since I'm back with LHCF. Let me know if you have any advice on what to do about the back of my hair (look at the picture with my hair half up half down).

Enjoy;)

Your hair looks very shiny and healthy.

Thanks Kaddy!

I hope that I stay on the growth bandwagon this time. I think because I finally have pictures and goal pictures, this will help me to stay focused.

good luck girly!! your hair is lookin nice, even nicer when you reach your goal :)

My goodness, that is some SHINE! I need some

As to the back of your hair, don't wait. Trim now. You don't have to make all of your hair even, but it's best to get rid of the damage. It just sits there and makes the rest of your hair look and feel rough (that was the case with me, anyway).

You don't have to do anything extra special to the nape. When I shaved my nape completely, all I did was give it a little more conditioner and leave-in and it grew back in no time. When I wore my hair in a ponytail and the nape was too short to go in, I just clipped it up until it was long enough. I combed and brushed it just like the rest of my hair.

Thanks ladies!!!

and for the tip Boadicea!! :D

As for the shine, my hair has always had a lot of natural luster and has always been that dark. I think the extra shine comes from not piling on too many products which I stopped doing once I got my hair cut in October and the hairdresser told me to lay off on the amount of product. She actually told me as long as I deep condition normally all I really need is to spray some Mizani Shyne spray on it as needed. So I've been doing that since december and using a little Carol's Daughter Healthy Hair butter as needed too.

However after I came back from the dominican salon on sunday, I parted my hair in big sections and put some WGO in the parts. I then gave myself a good scalp massage, wrapped my hair, misted the wrap with some Mizani spray and put on my scarf. I haven't put any product in my hair since sunday and it's still very moist.

I'm starting to remember why I love Wild Growth!!

WGO and Mizani Shyne spray, I now think they are starting to work from the inside out! My hair is shiny now before I put them into my hair!!
