since starting this regime i got my first trim today. i've been avoiding it after reading the horror stories you guys posted and i was not about to let my friends or family members do it. So i went to Regis and this black chick, Lisa, did it. when she asked how much how much i wanted to trim i said: "as little as possible". then she said: "how about 1/8 of an inch?" i can't believe i actually said: "no, more like a 1/4 of an inch". man, i was terrified the whole time cause i thought she was gonna go overboard like my last stylist. she did no such thing. she washed, cut, and style for about $46. the only thing i didn't like was that the conditioner was left on my hair for only like 15 seconds (i'm not kidding). overall a great experience. i'll definetely go back to her for my trims from now on.

p.s. everyone kept saying how great my hair looked all day! true it's a little shorter but it's got a lot more bounce and body.

I'm breathing a sigh of relief for you. Glad she didn't chop it off.

I see progress...your hair is looking alot healthier compared to your starting out pics. Keep it up and don't give up;) :p :)

aww.. thanks ladies. i gotta have staples: good produts and a good stylist.
