I got WEAVE!! I'm weaving it out until February prolly. I'm tryna do this as a protective style to give my hair a break. The problem is that that's my real hair left out in the front and I keep flat ironing it to keep it straight. THAT IS NOT HEALTHY and my hair does not take heat well. Any tips?

BTW this is my goal length..or maybe 2 inches longer....it's around there. Buy funny thing is that this weave is just like 2 inches longer than my real hair, but it's way more fuller. My real hair will probably never look like this!

But most people thing this is mine haha. I used Premium Now Color 1 since I dyed my hair Jet Black.

That's what I LOVE about it!!! The hair cost $25 but it was very much well worth it. It doesn't hurt to have healthy hair too though. All the hair in the front is mine (The first 3 inches or so) but it blends nicely with the hair even though I haven't had a perm in 2 months.

My friend got the same style, but it doesn't look as good IMO because her hair is very very very short and a lil damaged so you can tell it's her hair in the front because it's really short then gets really long and I see splits. It still looks nice...but not as real.
 
I loove it!! I am also rocking a weave and I know its hard to resist the temptation to flat iron but I just don't do it..I'm 15 weeks post and its raining outside..all my NG has reverted and I still refuse to flat iron until my wash day. People may look at me crazy but when my hair is long they won't look at me crazy then..lol

ETA: Silk wrapping is the better alternative to flat ironing though. I'll just wrap it..but the saran wrap on it sit under the dryer for 10-15 min and my real hair tends to lay down after that...HTH!

I am waiting for my hair to arrive so I can put mine in too.
I used to love Premium Now hair.
 
I suppose you can put some texture in the weave braidouts and etc so you won't have to FI it so much. Cute bra in the last picture. I like the weave so good luck with that.

Is that human hair? If so, what kind?

And oh...I had that same exact shower curtain, too. I just threw it away because I was sick of looking at it. I still have everything to match.
