I feel like shooting my hair

i dont know what the heck is going on with these split ends dam them. i was good a couple of days ago and pladow they show up out of no where. i seal my ends, i keep my hair moisturized so what the hell man i want to bust a cap up in these strands.

what the heck do i do now with these ends besides hiding them

i wash and go a lot no bunning and all that because i dont have the extra time. my ends were fine last week then i went and got my hair done saturday at the dominicans and left with split ends what the hell

Bunning does not take long. Sounds like your ends are out a lot.

I just had a thought. When you WNG, does your hair dry during the course of the day or stay damp? If it dries up, then you really have to start bunning. My thinking is, as the moisture is carried away by air, it leaves your ends really dry: a recipe for splitting. It's the same thing that happens to my skin when I used water-based lotions. Within a few minutes, my face would be so dry, because the moisture in the lotion would evaporate leaving my skin dull and very lined. So perhaps if your hair stayed damp or was well sealed so that the air couldn't rob it of moisture, you may be able to see retention with your WNG? Otherwise, I'm a believer that hiding your ends is the surest way to be able to keep them looking good and attached to your hair.

my hair stays moist when doing the WNG my ends are always moist properly so i dont know what happened plus i cowash everyday. i was thinking it might have been a product that was used that cause my sudden split ends. i check everyday for these split ends i also have a scissors ready when i see one i cut it immediately so i dont know. when i took a look at my ends the tips were white as if it got burned under the dryer or something. i havent used heat for 2 months now so can that be it for the sudden change

I understand your frustration but I have not heard the nicest review regarding DB. I'm sorry I do not trust them with our hair.

I will say baby, seal & baby your ends. Splits can become a disastor I consider them warning signs...

White bulbs at the end mean heat damage. Trust me, I'd know. I think your trip to the Dominicans put too much stress/heat at the ends of your hair, evidenced by the white bulbs. They'll split for sure, but if there at the very ends, you shouldn't have to trim much, especially if you've been a vigilant as you say. HTH.

girl im telling you my hair was fine before i went in there and split the hell up after i came out but i think i can save it by moisturizing more and really bunning so i started the 2 month challenge for hiding the ends and thats exactly what im going to do right now for the mess

spoke to a girlfriend and she said to wash with Mirtha's milk shampoo for split ends
