It gets everywhere!! On my sinks, floors and this comes from just misting my hair with it! I purchased a product that has glycerin in it and I think I am just going to give it away. This stuff makes my hair feel icky and sticky.

ohh that's too bad! I usually mix a little glycerine, conditioner and castor oil w/ spring water as a leave in staple. No stickiness or messyness here. The only product that I really had that issue w/ was the gold bottle of jerhi curl spray that I used to use. That was no good for me !

Same for me. I use pure glycerine and mix it in my spray bottle. It's working pretty good with my hair. I hate to hear it's leaving your hair sticky. What product did you use?

I used Green Tea herbal rinse from Asha's. I have also used rosewater and glycerin together- same result.

I've pretty much given up on products with a lot of glycerin. I was able to use curl activators with no problems when I was texturized, but my hair pretty much revolts against glycerin now that I'm natural. I only use products with low or no amounts of glycerin now.

I'm sorry to hear it doesn't work for you. I love that stuff!

I went out and bought some, knowing that I hate it. If it's in the top 3 ingredients in a lotion I know I'll hate it, so I don't know why I thought to run out and mix some up with water and spray it in my hair.

The stickiness of it disgusts me.

Now you all will have watching out for the sticky icky the next time I pick a product with glycerin. I guess because I mix mine with so much other stuff, it dosent have a chance to act out on me. lol. I will keep an eye on this.

Hmm.. my hair LOVES glycerin, but I agree it is annoying how it sticks to floors everything, I'll definitely try mixing it with something.

Me too. I do put glycerin in my moisture spritz, but a very small amount. My hair likes honey much better than glycerin. My hair also hates proplyene glycol as a main ingredient.

I'm not crazy about it either. It tends to tangle my hair. I can deal if glycerin is not in the top 3 list of ingredients otherwise tangle and knot city.
