Wash and condition my hair anymore because the last time I went, they were too rough with my almost 10 month post relaxer hair. I even brought my detangler and my hair still ended up in a tangled mess. They didn't even want me to untangle my own hair. 
Now, as a result of this, I wash, condition, and detangle myself at home. I then go to the salon and request a blowout without wash and condition. I get out in 30-45 mins even on a Friday or Saturday. Plus, they don't cringe up as much when they see that I only want a blowout...at least my stylist don't. I just thought this thread would be useful because a I would like to spare a lot of people grief and loss of hair.
