I don't care what y'all say about Creflo.....

I'm listening now  and I will review in afterward. Some of his stuff is questionable but his "heart mouth connection" series really blessed me so I always try and give him a chance LOL.

The man is no saint but he knows what to say from the pulpit. More preachers need to love their wives and tell others how to do it too. A lot of men just don't know because their fathers were not around to tell them.

Very good info!

ETA: Previous post sounded self-serving...

It is elementary...but how many men do this stuff for their wives on a DAILY basis (like opening doors, leaving notes, walking WITH their wives, etc.). If more men would do it, then more women would be happier.

I agree - many men do not - either they have not been raised to perform these acts of kindness - or they do not care enough to learn.

I have not listened yet, but I'm gonna.

Would this be good to get your husband to listen to?

My marriage needs help I really believe my husband fits into the category that some of you spoke of - father or male figure not around to see it and be told. When you are raised by a woman and surrounded by women you think your wife should be Superwoman and you have no clue what your "duties" are in the relationship. I have friends who say that is a cop out because after a certain age that man should see or learn from exposure and others as to how it should be done. :ohwell: My hubbys other problem is he needs Jesus so I doubt he will even listen to the message.

ETA: I really enjoy listening to Creflo.

I definitely think it would be good for him to listen to - it is sound and practical advice. The first year or so of my marriage were so rough - on that next New Years I told him I was not going to spend another year like the previous one... through prayer and nothing short of a miracle, his attitude towards marriage changed. I'd purchased the book "Point Man" by Steve Faarar (sp) and kept leaving it around the house... it was MONTHS before he would even pick it up. I would move it from room to room, bedroom to living room, living room to bathroom, finally I noticed he was reading it. He did not perform an overnight change... but one day I looked up and my marriage was good. I thank and praise God - I know it was not for me, but for what we could accomplish for His kindgom together.
