I was kind of unexpected because I had just finished my rollerset and I was like.....I wonder how long it would take to correct it....
So I look this little spot in front and I put some Silk Elements on it and smoothed...and smoothed...and smoothed...and SMOOTHED :lachen:for about 5 minutes. Then I put some Aphogee 2 min reconstrutor on the section for 5 min then neutralized and it came out PERFECTLY!!! Not too straight and not too wavy...just like then hair before it

I'm so happy!!I'm doing a full one tomorrow!!

:bouncy: Yaaaay! I am so happy! You're giving me hope 'cause I have been underprocessed forever and have been too scurred to do a corrective. Good for you!

OK I ddi the full corrective today. i slathered and smoothed like nobody's business. I used Silk Elements Regular and then used some Ion Reconstrutor for 5 min and then used Prosperity Control for about 1 min and the neutralized. I relaxer in 3 sections 2 at the top and then 1 in the back. I then hennaed for about 1 and 1/2 and rollerset and did a saran wrap. i cannot tell if I got it to my liking because I didn't let the rollerset dry all the way because I was tired of being under the dryer.

Girl when I got my corrective done, the texlax part is not totally like the rest of my hair; but it is straighter now and I can comb through my hair. I just post some pics in my fotki today showing the difference.

i'm happy to see this thread because I plan on doing a corrective this weekend..i will let you all know how it goes

Woo, I am glad it turned out good for you as well. You did a lot of work, with the henna treatment in there to boot!! That's awesome!!
