I DID IT!!!........I CUT IT!!!

YOU HAVE THE MOST GORGEOUS HAIR EVER!!!!!!! :worship2::notworthy::trophy:

In your fotki album, do you have a discussion on how you managed to transition without cutting all your hair off?

Thanks so much and congratulations again! :clapping:

Thank you!!!

I'm sorry I don't have a fotki, but I haven't completely transitioned; I have a lonnnnnngggggg ways to go. But my process has been pretty simple. There are pics in the online Photo Gallery (the link in my siggy or check at the top of your LHCF page) that show various stages of my journey though

I co-wash and deep condition once a week and I use my leave ins, seal with dabur vatika coconut oil (seal the ends with castor oil though) and put a perm rod roller on the ends. It takes it a while to dry but I moisturize it daily with NTM and seal with the coconut oil, and since I have started baggying my entire head, my hair has become so much more moisturized. My goal has been to clip a few inches every 90 days or so so I won't have to endure a BC.

I don't go to the salon often and I only went recently just to get my hair straightened out so I could get my ends clipped/layered.

That's about it!!

That is gorgeous. I'm definitely doing the flexi rods tonight. I love the layers.:yep:

Thanks hon! But be careful with the flexi rods and use the biggest ones you can find. Bigger one and less of them. Don't make the mistake I made when I first started using them.

I got the medium sized ones and used a LOT of them in my head. Yes, I looked like Curly Sue and by the end of the day all the curls were still intact and hadn't dropped one bit:sad:

Hope it turns out well for you!

Gurl don't scare me like that again! I was not NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
You have the most beautiful silkyest hair here! Keep up the good work!

Beautiful hair, and I just love the color!! I'm scheduling a consultation for highlights next week. The color has grown out of my hair and I can't seem to make up my mind whether or not I want to keep it dark or get more highlights (this time, professionally). That color in your hair is beautiful!! Is that the work of cassia?

I love my highlights too, even though I said i wasn't going to highlight again, but they are so addictive so I may be going at it again sometime next year. Besides, it will one be one chemical application in my hair (since I won't be relaxing again)

I used cassia that one time back in December of 2006. Cassia doesn't give off a color and I just used it for the strengthening properties. I liked it but it was a bit too messy for me. I did a henna rinse a few months after that, but once again, it was too messy for me and I didn't do the application properly. Those highlights are Keune Tinta Color.

I absolutely love color; I say go for it!.
