I did a touch up today (and more)

I did a touch up today using Vitale sensitive scalp relaxer (My last touch up was July). I deep conditioned afterwards using the little bottle of reconstructer with heat 30 minutes. I blow dried and dusted my ends (I'm following the moon maintenence plan).

When I went outside.......LORD HAVE MERCY

!!!!!! I got so many compliments and hateration stares it was CRAZY

. (I'm also on the bun challenge so folks ain't seen my hair since summer) Everybody was surprised to see my hair twice as long as it was....heck..They were surprised to see me with long hair PERIOD. Its been short all my life.

I love you ladies sooooooo much

! I could cry! I look great with long hair and now I'm only about 3-4 inches from bra strap!!!! I started with nape length.

Congratulations. Was this touch up done differently than previous touch ups (besides the new moon) for instance adding deep conditioning to your regimen after a relaxer?

Congratulations! You grow girl! The compliments you received were well deserved. When the bun challenge is finished the "Haters" are going to be "Fit to be tied" (slang for undone, even more shocked).

I used to use the same relaxer back in my pre LHCF days. I don't know why I stopped because there is still some in my cabinet. I also remember liken the setting lotion (I diluted) back in the day. Sounds like Vitale is still some good stuff.

The only thing that was really different was that it was the perfect day to do root work under the moon maintenance plan. It came out straighter. I also trimmed and used a reconstructer. The reconstructer is great.

I wish I had a Digicam so that I could post pics. In March my hair was at the nape and dry and split. Now I am on my way to Bra strap.
