Hello everyone,

I'm probably 6 months post right now or more. I never stretched this long before. I am getting a touch up today and I just want to know is it a bad thing for me to relax today after having product in my hair? I've been using moose for the past two days and I don't normally wear a holding product so I'm just feeling a little iffy right now...

I am drenching my hair in oil right now and seperating/detangling everything lightly with my hands

Is the mousse on the new growth? As this may make it harder for the relaxer to penetrate. If it isn't, IMO that should be fine. It's always a good idea to coat the hair past the new growth with oil or product anyway to prevent chemical run that could damage the already relaxed hair.

Yea the mousse is on the new growth after. It doesn't feel hard or anything though. So basically the relaxer would most likely have to stay on for a little bit longer?
