OK, I was getting a bit anxious and wanted to know what my hair would look like without the relaxed ends. I'm going into my 32nd week without a relaxer and I'm just itching to cut it off so I cut some in the back. I soaked it down with water and got to cutting...wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and it gave me a chance to see what my hair will look like

You might as well keep cutting..I'm sure it'll be cute when you cut it off...Do it..Do it..do it...

congrats on your BC. I did the same thing last year, cutting some, but leaving some... but then I went and cut the rest of my relaxed ends 2 weeks later anyway. it was liberating and just plain ol looked better in a wash and go or puff! :) btw, love the braids too!!!

BC'ing a tiny area is a sign that you will BC completely soon :-)

There are only a couple of ladies on this board (one is Morenita) who BC'd a small area months ago and still able to hold out from BC'ing.

I guess it's a good way of finding out if you like the length or not...

Good luck whatever your decision, looking forward to your thread when you BC :-)

I want to say just do it but I know how it is. I need to cut an inch from my damaged ends right know and I am scared. At least your brave enough to take baby steps.

ETA:correct spelling
