Now maybe my hair won't look jacked up everyday. I wonder what people's reactions will be. In the mean time, I'm going to bed at 6am. :lol: :sleeping:

Ok, I had been transitioning since January 25th, 2005. I didn't originally plan to transition, but after I hadn't had a relaxer in a while I thought, "Why the heck not? I need a new challenge in my life." :lol:

Anyway, I had discussed my plans with my boyfriend. He didn't like it at first. Actually, he hated it, but now he accepts it. He was going to be the one to chop my hair. Well... it looks like he won't be home anytime soon, so I would have to do it myself. I just thought it was time and didn't want to wait on him. I'll add more pics to my album, but as of now here goes!

:eek: Its beautiful.....Congrats....I hope I have that much hair when I BC. Considering I have 4" at 8 months...I can only hope at 18 months, it will be 9.

Until I saw the pics, I wasn't sure I believed you did it :lol: You're brave, because I was too much of a fraidy cat to BC.

The texture in the front is looser than the rest, because it's normally pulled back. Therefore, it's stretched. I have mostly 4a kinks. Anyway, thanks for the compliments. Do y'all really mean it? I posted a pic of it on the N Sync Board, and the first person replied said, "Yikes." :lol:
 
Congrats on the big chop! I just found out the other day that I have to have mine cut off. My stylist said it would be better. I am just use to having long hair. Hopefully, it will grow back quickly. Pray for mr. I am scared to let it go!

That "yikes" person was just rude. Your hair is beautiful, it looks so full. You take care of it ya hear! lol and keep workin them headbands ;)

jasmine, I'm loving the style in your siggy! :love: I transitioned for a year and 4 months.

kitchen_tician, I look forward to seeing my hair in styles, too, but I don't even know where to start with that! :lol: I'll be practicing, though.
