When I conditioner wash I treat my hair the same as if I'd used shampoo. Sometimes I rollerset & sit under the dryer, other times I braid and let (mostly) airdry for a braidout.
you combed through BEFORE adding a leave-in? To prevent stress on the hair, condition wash or not, you should always put in your leave-in before manipulation (such as combing).
Here's what I did:
- CW
- combed thru while water rinsed thru my hair
- applied surge and mtg
- applied salerm
- pulled back and twisted up with clipped
- put a scarf on and went to bed
I woke up with wet hair in the back and frizz. Is that normal.

It takes me about 24 hours to airdry my hair when it is bound into one ponytail. It takes about 16 when I put it into two ponytails. Perhaps you could try two ponytails if the hair was too wet for your liking. Good luck.
