IMHO, I think it could. I don't know if you sleep in a scarf at night but if you do then be careful. Because, if you are wearing something on your head all day at work or school then all night when you are asleep, then you have constant pressure on your edges. However, I think you need SOMETHING between the wig and your hair. I don't know how many women who wear wigs do it without something. But maybe you should do a search and see. That's why I think you should do the massages because you have to make sure the edges are protected from the pressure and get the blood they need. Maybe you should also apply something extra like the ors carrot oil. I also have thin hair and I am using this for strength.
