Hi ladies,
I just returned from Luisa's and my hair is fantastic. I called my husband right away and was gushing about my hair. It is flowing and bouncy and midway to brasrap (my goal). Luisa herself was not there but they washed and set and then blew out the roots and need a relaxer badly and was a bit worried about breaking but I didn't see any hair. I want to wait until a couple weeks before xmas. Anyway, I will continue to go once a week and wash on my own midweek. I am happy. Thanks Ms Kenesha. Next I will be going to Avatar for my relaxer. Can't do it myself anymore, and many of my friends go there.

I'm going to them every two weeks to hold off on this relaxer challenge. I'm sooo happy you're halfway to your goal. I think they do fabulous work as well!

Zgirl, Luisa's is in Silver Spring, MD. It is a Dominican salon and a doobie is $35.

zgirl i just dug into my bag for the card the number is 301 565 4624.
Ms Kenesha, I was so nervous with the blow out I have a thin part at the front and that hot dryer was a bit much but I love the results. A love-hate kinda thing.

Ms_Kenesha and joemerald - Did you by chance see anyone with natural hair in there (i.e. types 3 and 4)? I used to go to Jaselvis to get mine blow out and flat ironed, but I was thinking about trying someplace new (that knows how to work with natural hair). Thx in advance.

A roller set and then blown out (roots only). I don't get relaxer touch-ups at Luisa's.

Am I the only one that wasnt all that impressed with the ladies at Luisa's. I have been there several times over the summer. And I just was not pleased. But I am hard to please when it comes to my hair. I never got a blow out though case I dont like direct heat on my hair, I opted for just a rollerset and had them wrap it. I
