I am PISSED!! ARRGHHH!!!!!!

I have to use my hair dryer, flat iron AND curling iron to have my hair ready within the next 45 minutes!!! My man calls me now to let me know that he's on the way back home, and to be ready (dressed nicely) because he has a surprise for me....which is sweet and all and I love him for that. BUT - I have been doing VERY good with using NO HEAT for the past month. And to top it all off, I have to use the three most damaging forms of heat for hair known to mankind! I'm more upset that after spending all day yesterday out in the heat, I tried to make up for it today, so I slathered in a lot of Humectress and its been in there for about 4 hours...now I have to abuse my hair! ARRRGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Maybe the curling iron won't be necessary. Flat iron should suffice.
Do you have a round brush? Maybe you can blow it out with that and cut out the irons all together.

instead of curling iron, do bantu knots. leave them in while getting dressed, makeup. by time u r finished our hair will be nice & curly/wavy.

I don't have a round brush, but I will look into getting one when my hair gets a little longer. I cut my hair off last month, so its short (not even shoulder length really) so I have to use the curling iron also so that it can at least have some style. I use Nexus Headress as a leave in, and I'm still blow drying my hair on HIGH HEAT now!! I'm really pissed off that I have to do this. I cut my freakin hair to start over and now I'll be doing more damage to it!

why do u have to use the hair dryer AND the bloowdryer. Choose one of them (i suggest blowdryer cause that's faster drying), flatiron and go. Be thankful you have such a thoughtful man.

Hey this is a good idea.

Sorry u have to do all that to you hair. Isn't it possible to look nice with it in a curly style? Its just that you worked so hard ya know?

not at all, u just have to part & do smaller ones. Did them on my daughters hair all the time when she was only like collarbone.

Since my hair is short now (between neck and shoulder length), I will have to use both the flat and curling iron to give it style. I could typically just roller set it or wet wrap my hair, let it air dry, comb it down and it falls into place nicely. But under the current time constraints, I can't do all of that. And yes I am very thankful that I have a good man. Ok, gotta go now so that I can finish getting ready.

Why can't you just put it in a bun or something? It's your hair not his. He didn't tell you to flat iron it. Calm down........
