The day I chopped was the day my texturized part didn't react to products or styles anymore. After that, my hair was very easy to detangle and my life was easier. But it was long enough to keep it in a bun. To be perfectly honest, looking at your avatar I think you are one of those lucky ladies who in my humble opinion would look beautiful also with short hair.
