I am going to attempt to wash my own hair!!!!! I have two questions!

Co-washing is just washing with conditioner instead of shampoo. You'd wash your hair the same way you would with shampoo.

I air dry with my hair hanging for a few hours. Once my hair dries a little, I put it into two braids to dry the rest of the way.

Seriously, wash like you do with shampoo. It will be more gentle and help you to detangle in the shower more easily.

I usually go to the dominicans every two weeks.

I wondered the same thing. I go to the stylist once every week. I do this because I lose so much hair when I shampoo myself. I am new to the forum and have been reading so much. I am going natural and currently have my hair braided with a sew in. I am hoping to get some thickness from this.
