Don't say that. I am feeling really discouraged right now too! I believe sometimes when we feel down, it's right before a breakthrough is about to happen.
Don't say that. Life can be tough. However remember God knows better. Allways look at those who have more trouble than you do. I swear there are plenty around you : homeless, sick people, poor people (They don't have food let alone a computer to vent ...). Read the bible, examin yoursefl...
And yes we all die there is nothing you can do about it. But at least try at every moment of your life to please God, to be good to people, to become a better person. ( I know it hard but have it your way, turn the situation around).

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Both of you be encouraged. We as children of God are blessed to know that everything that happens to us is truly for our good. We can know that God is always working a new miracle in our lives and although we may not understand the direction that He takes to get us there, once He has completed His work we can always look back and He will show us where He has brought us from and how we have grown. So stay encouraged. The words to one of my favorite songs says...

There will be problems and sometimes you'll walk alone, but I know, that I know things will work out (yes they will) for the good of them who love the Lord.
Eyes haven't seen and neither have ears heard the things that God has prepared for them who love Him. Sometimes you may have to cry and sometimes you're gonna have to walk alone, but I know things will work out for the good of them who love the Lord.

Ladies, I have been going through for a few years now and I see no light at the end of the tunnel. It seems if I take two steps forward, I'm kicked one mile back. For over six years it has seemed to me that God and satan are playing a game with my life. I feel like they are playing ping pong and I am the ball. Every now and then just for a good laugh, one of them will smack the ball out of bounds and watch me SPLAT against the wall. Just when I think I'm about to see day light, somebody steals the sun. I've had it, I'll cry UNCLE. I quit. I'm just so tired of getting my hopes up for nothing. Only a fool dont know when to quit.

Progress...not perfection
Ladies, I'm praying for you and ask that you do the same for me. I have some personal issues going on myself, and my faith is being tested,tried and at times torn to shreds, which is part of the reason I havent been as active in this forum or the religious discussions. I don't care to put my business out on the street but it can't just be coincidence that so many of us are going through stressful periods right now. I know (head knowledge) that God is my source and everything will come together in the end, but tying that together spiritually in my heart and having the faith to KNOW so that I'm not worrying and can maintain my peace has been a struggle. I'm thankful for the ladies here who pass on encouragement and the foundation of God's word. God bless all of you.
You can have what you say whether negative or postive. Power is in the tongue. (i'm going through) i'm going through!"! and it's true. i'm being tested, tried, pulled, pushed, all of that...but i still got the joy! you have to make up in your mind that you are going to stand on the Word of God! i found for myself that i had to quote the Word of God, and make a decision to not stay in my jacked up state...but believe God's Word, even though that was and is very, very difficult at times. but...u choose. be miserable and down or have the joy of the Lord which is your strength. i choose the latter. i encourage you to get to the Word and ask God to start showing you the promises He's made towards you (if you are obedient to Him) and begin to speak them over your life and hold on for dear life to them!!!!!! if you work the Word, it'll work for you. be blessed

Judging by the title of my thread, you are right. It started out that way, however, the reason I posted it here instead of the OT forum was that at the time, I was a sister in desperate need of my fellow sister in Christ.
That is exactly what I got. Between the PM's from my concerned sister and the ones that replied here, I gained the strength I needed to keep going. It may not have started out that way but in the end, I feel it was well justified.
Thanks to all the ladies for their encouragement. I battle on....

Hopeful, you dont know Blossssom like we know Blossom. The Blossom of 2003 when I joined the board was off the hook. This new Blossssom of 04, 5 and 6 is a bit more laid back. For a long time, I did not believe they were one and the same. Welcome back Blossom.

Yes I guess I'm lucky to have only met the kinder, gentler version of Miss Bloss. Kinda glad I never met "The Blossom of 2003".
