I just want to say thanks to all of you lovely ladies of LHCF. I don't post often, but I have learned so much from semi-lurking. I wish I knew about the forum before this year! :wallbash:

I got a touch-up on Wednesday after my very first 10 week stretch and I can actually see progress from a few months ago. It's not amazing progress, but it is progress nonetheless. My hair is healthier than it has ever been!

So again, THANK YOU, LADIES!!!! :drunk:

Yes, I was so surprised because my hair has NEVER appeared thick before.

Also, most of the "ponytail" in that first picture is actually my seatbelt.. :lachen:

I had to go back and take a second look at the first pic. I see what you mean about the seatbelt. Initially, I thought it was all ponytail too. :lachen:

Definitely longer and thicker.:yep:

Great job!

Isn't stretching great ? It definitely looks thicker! Congrats, Girl!

Thanks y'all!

Yes, stretching is the best thing! (Next to cowashing...I'm addicted to it. Now if I could only learn how to roller set. The salon would NEVER see me again! :nono:)

LOL, yeah, it fooled me when i first took the picture too. I thought I had an overnight hair growth spurt. :lachen:

Thats huge progress , way thicker! what did you do?

Thank you!! I've been cowashing at least 3 times per week. I deep condition (without heat) about 2 times a week as well. I do heat maybe once every 2 weeks (when I go to the salon to get a Dominican blowout). I have been protective styling with braidouts, buns, and ponytails (do these count?). I moisturize and seal with oil (castor or olive) as needed about 2 times daily. I have also been using BeeMine for about a month.

Oh, and I almost forgot, I just started pre-pooing with a mixture of cinnamon, rosemary, and grapeseed oil.

Good for you...imagine your progress a year from now...keep it growing...good job..and it sure enough is a J-O-B!!!

I pray that I can stay dedicated and patient enough to see some real progress next year! You're right that this is definitely like having an extra job!

"Extraness, " I like that!

Progress and looking at everyone's progress pictures are definitely huge motivation factors!
