Are there any natural ladies wearing wash and gos or two strand twists? I mean the goal of the challenge is to hide the length of your hair right? With the massive shrinkage I have, you'd never see the length. Would either style count? I think I'm going to take these braids out tonight they look crappy around the front.

I was wearing a wash and go, but I assumed I had failed because the whole point is to hide your hair. I take that as meaning protective styles nothing where your ends are showing/rather protecting them (braids, twists, wigs, etc.). But I could be wrong.:ohwell:

Well you can do protective styles with your own hair too. I know there are people on the challenge not wearing fake hair... Where's TSmith?

I was wearing twist with only my hair, but now I'm in twist extensions. I like it only b/c then I don't have to DO my hair. I don't know if a wash-n go would count. Would it depend on how you wear your hair usually? LIke if you wear it straight a wash and go wouldn't be showing length, but if you wear it curly then a wash and go may qualify as a break from the challenge.

Oh okay... my hair is usually covered at all times.

Here, I is boo:p

If your hair is covered and not showing the length then you should be fine. I assume. What protective style are you going to wear? I think the two strand twist would be a good protective style for the challenge. I know Rabia said that the hair should be hidden from yourself as well as others, so the twist strand twists sounds better than the wash n go...for this challenge.

imstush, you are correct?;)

It doesn't matter anymore. I have a wig on today. My hair looks spacey with two strands. I think I'm going to drop from this challenge. I'm tired of hiding.
