No, it's only attatched with two combs, one on top and one on the bottom. They are about medium length. The top one covers most of the crown area and the bottom has just enought to cover the nape area completely! It's a net that stretches over the head so I now cornrow the majority of my hair and leave out avout 1/3 of the top to cover up!
I'm in love with it & saving up for at least two more!
