Ladies,when I started my hair journey I had to give my Hubby a pep talk. I told him that I would not be going to my stylist anymore for awhile, and that I would be doing my own hair maintenance,(he's a go get your hair done and it'll grow longer) type of guy. So I've been wiggin' it, phony ponies, using my MNT and the such, since late October. My job is having a Christmas party this Saturday, so since it's a special occasion and I havent had a salon touch up since Sept (not counting the just for me,kiddie box perm on 11/9) I went to the salon. My hubby and I had a movie date afterwards, he did not mention my hair (although it was beautiful) even my stylist complimented me on how healthy my hair looked and how minimal the shedding was, especially since I had not been coming to her on the regualar. So as you know I was a little pissed, but I was also determined not to mention it, if he didnt (i'm a little stubborn that way) So last night as he's laying in bed and watching me move around our bedroom (cleaning up, getting the kid for bed) he ask's me.." is that all your hair?" so I say.." what do you mean..are you asking is it weave in here?" ..he starts to grin.. "it looks thicker for some reason" ...That was the best darn compliment!! Something I'm doing must be right, because he really doesnt pay that much attention to my hair,unless it's looking jacked up and we're going somewhere...bout darn time.
