sylver2 said:I have been wrapping my hair for 16 years now.
It has worked wonders and I love it.
I don't wrap when I'm 8-9 weeks post relaxer.
I have never wrapped it wet, to much stress on it.
keep it smooth all around, no pins. Use some serum or oil and smooth around with hands. Tie on satin scarf. I never have any problems next day. Falls straight. Only time I have problems is when I'm to lazy to sit there and smooth it, then it comes out half stright next day..lol.
Mizani_Mrs said:yea sylver i think wrapping works best for those with either ultra short hair (1-4inches long) or those with very long hair (bra-strap). for those inbetween it just doesn't work. and the wrapping lotions and stuff makes the hair hard if you use it for 3days in a row....
well anyways, i just don't get it. but I'm glad it works for you and other folks!

Nice said:I guess that everyone's hair is different because when I decided to stop wrapping my hair, my sides thanked me for it. It is just way too much manipulation for my fine hair.
