How To Ward Off Negativity...

I tried the search function and I'm unable to find a thread about the topic below.

How would I go about "blessing" my home, as in, ward off negative energy (or evil spirits).Is there a certain verse in the Bible I need to say, do I have to use some type of object, etc. I'm new to this and I feel if I did a complete cleansing, not only will I feel better but 2011 will be the year of change for me.

If you scroll through the past few days, there was a thread about praying evil spirits away from your home and anointing your home with oil. It's a relatively recent thread.

Just pray from your heart, Dear One. God will honour every prayer from your heart to bless your home.

It can be as simple as, "Lord Your Presence is Welcome into My Home. No unclean thing can cross this threshold, only you. In Jeus' Name, Amen.

God never refuses an invitation. He is honoured to be welcomed into your dwelling place. And He is a wonderful guest.

As for unclean spirits, never be afraid, for fear is not from God; and nothing shal by any means hurt you.
