Has anyone found a way? Any particular clarifiers? I believe that I'll start using CON again, but I'm afraid of the build-up.

Just a suggestion, but I'm partial to Mizani's PuripHying Shampoo....works wonders on removing build-up, EVEN MTG on my hair :)

Sauve clarifier works well. Also, about once a month I use Apple cider vinegar rinse and that removes all buildup.

I agree with the ACV rinse...It does a wonderful job in removing build-up...and it's not harsh on the hair either...it makes my hair extremely soft.

i just picked up sally's generic version of nexxus aloe- it is a clarifying shampoo- thinking about using it tommorrow.

dlewis, Regular Apple Cider Vinegar?

I use one large cup of water and 2 tablespoons of ACV (Walmart brand) and pour over the hair as a final rinse. Only about once a month. And like Lady_Lioness said it's not harsh on the hair.
