How to make texturized hair silky?

My hair is mosty texturized, but there is a part in the front that I got straight and there are portions to the sides (that can be hidden) that I also got straight. I notice than when I do my braid outs, I just LOVE the way the front and those sides look because it is SOO silky.
Also when I rollerset, my bangs and those sides came out all bouncy and straight and silky and shiny, but I NEVER get the same results with the rest of the my hair

Is there any way to make the rest of my hair even resemblet he silkiness of the "too straight" portions.

It's all about the products you use. Serums and cones tend to give a silkier appearance.

I agree.

Have you tried LUST yet. I tried it for the first time last night. My hair had a buttery smooth texture to it. A very slick feeling. I consider it more of a silicone treatment than a conditioner.

I agree, try some different products to see if you can get the silkiness. A good leave-in works well...of course, applied after a good "slip" conditioner.
