How to make flat twists for a twistout

I really tried to do a twist out the other day, but it did not quite work. I still have not figured out how to do flat twist, does any one know of a free instructional site or video or something.

I havent seen a site or anything, my best advice is to practice, practice, practice. That taught me better than watching.
