Ok ladies, braidouts are my favorite style now(not to mention one of the only ones I can do!haha) well it looks really cute and fresh early in the day but by the evening it starts to look a little rough. Especially one night when I went out dancing...it looked really good when I left but within a couple of hours it looked a HOT MESS! I sweated it out quickly....
Any ideas on keeping this style fresh in the humidity or when sweating?

My hair looked frizzy the time I dried it completely in the braids so now I airdry normally then use a little leave in conditioner and some oil or serum or whatever, plait it in 4 to6 braids and tie it up at night, then in the morning I unbraid and finger comb, fluff out. then I either wear it all up in a clip with bangs to the side, or half up half down, or all down in either a headband or parted to the side.

Try using a setting cream or lotion. I use Black and Sassy Cream set when I do mine.

I'm glad you asked this questions because I'm sporting my first braid out today and it's really humid today. I don't think mine will make it til the end of the day, but I'll try some Lottabody Cream Set next time.
