i read somewhere that the chemicals in tap water are harsh to the hair and skin. i'm going to buy a shower filter today that takes the chlorine, odors, and dirt particles out of your shower water. it's suppose to improve your skin from being dry and help your hair grow softer, faster and healthier. the chlorine in the water is what gives you dry hair and split ends. i will post again after i've tried it.there is a company called baar that sells them but they are expensive. the website is : baar products they also sell a lot of the essential oils that everyone talks about. i hope this helps someone. /images/graemlins/rosebud.gif

I have been using my Culligan water filter for about 3 months with great results - softer hair and skin.

It cost me about $20 at Sears (i believe they sell it online too). HTH.
