i heard that u shouldn't comb when you hair is wet but i have been doing that. i will rinse it the shower then add a leave in ( humetress or curl activator) then comb it out. sometimes i do the same thing minus the rinse. i don't pull out a lot of hair nor do i see those lil hairs on my shirt. it this bad? also what about brushing. i don't use a boar bristle brush, i use a paddle brush, is it okay?

When my hair is wet, I comb from the ends up (to detangle). When all the tangles are removed, I just comb from the roots to the ends. I use a bb brush when I want to brush my hair. I also have a paddle brush, but I don't use it very often though.

You should comb your hair when wet or moist(at least for natural hair).

When having a regular condition wash,I brush my hair to detangle it and it is much easier than a comb. I use a denman brush d14 which is like a paddle brush but without the round ends.

I also see those little hairs too which I don't think is breakage because my hair is still gaining length plus I can study them to see if I have split ends

I'm 4a natural. I used to have a profile which seems to have disappeared when I left.

allandra- thank u i just wanted to make sure i was doin the right thing.
londongirl3 do that some mornigns and it just seems like the whole process is easier ya know. a little faster to, but i just want to make sure i'm doing this right. when my hair was breaking of real i bad i would have to do my hair b4 i got dressed b-cuz my hair would be all on my shirt. that's why i'm worried
