How do u attach a phony w/o damage?

I'm nervous about that plastic clip? Is there another way to attach a phony if I remove the plastic clip?

Thanks :)

I'm not sure, Miosy. I've always used the drawstring ones with the combs in the front and back. Are you talking about the claw clip ones?

I have one w/ a draw string and I guess I could take the plastic comb out but my bun is only a plastic comb not a claw clip. The comb hurts a bit so I think it may cause damage. I wonder if there is another way to keep it in place?

I put a little bit of oil on my comb to help them slide in and out w/o damage. I never see any of my hair in the ponytail comb. I stopped using the one in the back. Making sure that your ponytail isn't very tight also lets the comb slide in and out easier, reducing the chances for potential damage. If you want to avoid using the comb, you could use some hair pins but I tend to find those far more painful than the comb.
