I have a question ladies as I'm on my way out to buy a pair of hair shears. I just relaxed my hair 18 days ago, but I decided I want to chop it all off and grow it natural. My question is am I allowed to do this yet and how should I go about doing it?

I was going to do the whole transition thing, but my hair is far too damaged for me to consider living with this for another ten or even three months. I just want to get it over and done with. I was thinking of just cutting off everything and leaving the new growth that's starting to peek through. Is that possible?

I have done it, but the important question is are you okay with your hair so short, and if you are then go ahead, but don't do it out of frustration or impulse. :)
You can nurse it back to a workable touchable condition

You can do it whenever you want but how much new growth do you have? Because if it's not a lot you might as well go to the barber's and get them to cut it evenly, instead of struggling your self with scissors and possibly cutting uneven or too much.

If you're comfortable with NO hair you can go right ahead and do it now; if not maybe wait a month or two and grow an inch before you chop.

Obviously not a lot of growth, but I've just been frustrated with the damage of my hair that the idea of waiting irritates me to no end. I guess I can wait another month or so, but I wanted to see if it was possible to shave it off now and still be considered a big chop. I'm comfortable wearing a 'fade'.

I just used the smallest guard on the clipper and shaved off all my hair until I heard no sounds. I combed it out and shaved again, it was nice! :)

You are allowed to do whatever you choose with YOUR hair. If you are comfortable rocking the fade...ROCK IT!

i rocked the close crop for a few months..
I chopped; then got a line up and chopped again

if i were you, i would get a set of clippers and rock a bald fade :look:
