HOW SOON AFTER RELAXING DO YOU GO BACK TO GROWTH TREATMENTS?

i'M CURIOUS BECAUSE I RELAXED ON THURSDAY WORE MY HAIR OUT YESTERDAY FOR HUBBIE TO SEE AND HE WAS LIKE "BABE IS THAT YOUR REAL HAIR?? IT IS REALLY GROWING." AND ALTOUGH I LOVE MY ACCOMPLISHMENT , I'M REALLY NOT TRYING TO WEAR IT OUT AND TODAY WILL COWASH AND BUN BUT i WAS CURIOUS IF AFTER ALL THE CHEMICALS ON THE SCALP IF IT'S OK TO GO BACK TO MTG OR WAIT A WHILE.

I go back to growth treatments right away after my relaxer,

I relaxed last Thursday, co-washed the following Monday and added MTG with no problems...

I am not entirely sure of the answer but I do know my dominican stylist would not use alter ego after washing out the relaxer. She used it the following week.

Question for you ladies (and i know this has been addressed) how are you mixing and applying your MTG?

I apply mine straight. I dont dilute it with any essential oils, because the smell doesnt bother me at all, and i dont want to somehow decrease the potency.

I use an empty WGO bottle to apply it. I used to pour my MTG in a spray applicator bottle, but I found that I was still using too much and it was dripping down my neck. I find that the tiny opening at the end of the WGO bottle is perfect for controlling how much comes out, and applying it just to the parts in adequate amounts.

I mix mine with jasmine and peppermint oil and apply with an applicator bottle. The oils REALLY cut down on the smell.
