It's from reading this info the other day that's made me sit up and take notice of what I put into my body. And mine needs a good old wash out. Basically my diet is affecting the absorbtion of the vitamins, so rather than me waste my money on them and they not absorb properly, It's best to make sure that they can be absorbed to the best of their ability.

Here is some info and where you can take an online test to find out your biological age.

http://www.florahealth.com/flora/home/USA/Products/BiologicalAgeQuestionnaire.asp

Geez, I've got some work to do, which I already knew. I'm 27 and my biological age is 39. I need a good cleaning out, up the exercise (what am I saying, I need to START exercising) /images/graemlins/tongue.gif, increase my fruit and veggies intake and get more rest. Sounds real good doesn't it? We'll see because I too want to get the most from my vitamins and that exercise will help hairgrowth as well!! /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

LD, if you really want to kick start your body (since spring is coming up) why dont you go on a detox? I did it last year (i was coming out of a deep funk, didnt like the fact that i was heading to a size 14 (10US)and didnt like how my skin looked).

I did a basic detox which was no meat, as much water as i could STAND (1.5 litres a day), did light exercise, ate alot of nuts and fruits when i felt hungry and had one good meal at the end of the day (as long as it was fish or pulses). I lost 6lbs and along with body brushing, my skin looked and felt better.

IT REALLY IS SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.... I GET A COLON CLEANSING (W/THE COLONIC IRRIGATION) EVERY TWO TO THREE MONTHS..IT IS SOMETHING THAT YOU SHOULD DO BEFORE YOU CONSUME ADDITIONAL VITAMINS AND NUTRIENTS IF YOU WANT TO GET THE MAXIMUM BENEFIT..I HAVE NOTICED GREAT IMPROVEMENTS IN MY OVERRALL HEALTH... /images/graemlins/smile.gif /images/graemlins/smile.gif /images/graemlins/smile.gif /images/graemlins/drunk.gif

i took the questionnaire. i am a 40 year old 23 year old /images/graemlins/frown.gif i am a bit sceptical though cos they are selling a product!

I personally am not sceptical about the information.

If I worked out 1 hour 5 times a day, ate 6 portions of fruit and veg, had no stress or very minimal and got plenty of rest etc. The score would suit my lifestyle and be very low. The fact that I eat crap, suffer from stress, depression ect don't work out like I should or eat enough fruit and veg will show up in my score. It doesn't or shouldn't take a test for me (personally) to realise I'm not healthy /images/graemlins/nono.gif I think rather than look at it at buying a product which you don't have to buy. Look at your answers and try and improve on them. So that in 3 months time if you take the test again your results are so much better, you won't need that much of a detox/cleaning out. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i mwan for 40 my habits are not THAT bad! i feel that even Linford Christie would fail. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm 34 and they rate me as 55 /images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Time to give up the cigs (I only smoke during stressful situations) and exercise more than once a week.

I'm 30years old but am biologically 35 years old. It's because of my diet/eating.... hmph!!! Tell me something I DON'T know. /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif

The month of March has just begun... I tried on several still like-new summer outfits and if I don't start slimming down now.... I will be in the house all summer because I REFUSE to buy new clothes.

Thanks for this LD. This was a huge wakeup call for me.

Jazzy don't feel bad -My biological age is 28. My internal age is 62.

I've been reading a book on juice (veggie) fasting. I think I need to read faster. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif Interestingly - it's mostly the stress that's jacking up my age. /images/graemlins/frown.gif But I never eat, I smoke like a chimney (like a pack and a half a day - I cna go througha pack just reaidng the boards) and I have chronic insomnia - so I guess this should be expected, right? /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I think the only thing that saved me from breaking a CENTURY was that I recently began eliminating white starches and sugar from my diet. So I was able to put only "a few times a week" for that. Otherwise I might just have needed you guys to call the undertaker.....LOL!

It rated me at 42 and Im 21.. makes me sad /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif but I made an appointment to do a colon cleansing in April, I definitely plan on staring my spring right.

Tracy my dear I'm, glad it was of help /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well think of it this way. If your hair looks that good from smoking and all the stress you have then imagaine what would be if you did a total 360. Ow don't hurt em now /images/graemlins/grin.gif Even though I'm 23 I smoked for most of my life (I started at 10 /images/graemlins/nono.gif believe it or not and gave up around 20) it was one of the hardest things to do. I smoked a lot more around 18-20 due to stress and even now I sometimes crave the dreaded weed but I can see and feel the difference. You'll get there in due time. We all will /images/graemlins/smile.gif

BTW I'm 23 my bilogical age is 43

allandra i had no idea you were so mature. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Allandra you go girl /images/graemlins/clap.gif

No need to worry ladies. The cells can actually renew theselves and you can reverse your biological age up to 15 years per detox. There is hope /images/graemlins/clap.gif
The younger your insides the slower the aging process on the outside. Ooooh think of it. 500+ beautiful women of colour with long healthy hair and a youthful face to match. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'm 19 and my biological age was 40! When i took this test, I noticed the "obvious" flaws in my lifestyle. I dont consume as much water as I should, I have stress almost everywhere i go, and my diet is mediocre.

I'm 26 but my biological age is 32 yrs old /images/graemlins/frown.gif I guess i still got some work to do, drinking more water, getting more sleep and decreasing the stress level in my life /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i know. there will always be stress but we should try not to get too stressed about stuff. so eays to write so hard to do!

I'm 20 and my chronological age is 34! If that didn't scare me into eating proper full meals daily, nothing will.

I'm 20 and my biological age is 18. I thought the question on obesity was not fair because although I was once obese, I am not anymore and that should have been taken into account. Oh well, I'll be 18 till I die lol /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeah, I hear that a lot. I guess my face and age just don't go together. The next time I get carded at a movie that's rated R , I'm going to scream! /images/graemlins/mad.gif

right now i am running 3 years younger. I can only imagine what would happen if I improved my habits further. This is inspiring! I'm going to go right now and do a "what if"...
