How often do you use DRC-28

I read a post on another board about a woman who used it once a week with great success. I thought that was way too often. How often do you use it?

I used to use it once a month. Now I use it the wash directly before and the wash directly after a touchup.

I use it the wash before and after a touchup and then 6 weeks after the touchup.

I use DRC one week before relaxer and two weeks post relaxer
and then once a month.
I would be too afraid to use it every week.

I think it may be able to be used weekly - but I wouldn't chance it unless your hair is fantastically damaged. It's pretty strong.

The reason I think it's possilbe is because I used Emergencee for 4 weeks straight with no adverse effect - but my hair is recovering from multiple colorings in a short time frame. Because Emergencee and DRC work similarly (don't get hard) . But as I said - to me, that should only be done in extreme circumstances.

P.S. - I also only use it after a touch up.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I used it for the first time yesterday and the verdict is still out but my hair seems stronger and I had noticably less breakage and shedding this morning.

To the ladies who use DRC- What moisturizing conditioner do you use after using the DRC? and for how long?

I used Keracare Humecto without heat. I admit I used it just to use it up because this conditioner does nothing for me. Needless to say my hair was still hard but now (day after) it's back to normal.

I use lust or garnier fructis after DRC treatment.

Anything that makes it possible to comb through after the protein hardens my hair up.

What type of shampoo do you ladies use before applying this treatment??

I use a clarifying shampoo first followed by a moisturizing shampoo.
When I used it with my Lanza Protein Plus it made my hair kind of hard so I use any moisturizng shampoo of my choice.
