How often do you texlaxed ladies who wear wash n go's do your touch ups?

I love my hair after a fresh touch up but I don't want to do them too often.
The problem is I just hit 6 weeks and with all this summer heat my NG is outta control! I have some weird mullet look because of all the shrinkage. I was going to originally go 12 weeks but I decided that's impossible. I might stop at 8 and get my hair done at a salon if I can find one while I'm in San Diego (All Cali ladies take a minute and click the link in my sig Please).
Please answer the poll and if you have any tips on how to make my WnG's look right while I'm stretching, please speak up. I don't think this will be a problem when I am MBL or WL (I live for that day) but until then I have no idea what to do.

Honestly I dont wng very often but i texlaxed between 3 to 4 months.

I'm new to texlaxing - had my first one 5 weeks ago but plan to go 3 to 4 months between touchs. I WNG everyday.
