How often do you measure your hair?

Ever since I joined this website (not long ago)... Oh gosh I'm obsessed

I find myself checking my hair length in the morning, during the night. Lunchtime, dinner time... pretty much all day, every day.

I'm just curious how often do you guys check? Because my mum is getting sick of my new obsession, and my question everynight ''Has my hair grown? Has it grown.. Look.. Look.. Has it?''

I don't measure often, But I will start measuring before and after my beehive braids to actually see how fast my hair is growing between Protective Styling (every 6 weeks ), just a little journaling I will be doing

Pics will be after every relaxer since I am dusting and not trimming

I often measure shed hairs from the shower, then after I do scalp massages I'll do a visual check with my front piece...I'm paranoid about it getting shorter, lol!

Never until I started my healthy hair journey. So far, I've been transitioning for 8 months and I've only done it once. Earlier this August. My hair was a little more than 4 inches.

a watched pot never boils lol...i noticed more length when i wasnt doing a length check weekly...i did a length check last week for the 1st time in a few months...my next one will be in september before i get my weave just as a starting point and then i wont check again until i take it down probably in november...i've only measured with a ruler 2x...the other times i just eyeballed it

I measured 3 weeks ago at 22 inches from front of hairline down the middle to the longest hair in the back and now it is 22-1/4. I am not doing that anymore because I think every 8 weeks (1 inch) is a more accurate and encouraging landmark

I used to measure every month, now I do it like every other touch-up. Which means Im up for a measure in the next month. I stopped measuring so often because I would get disappointed too easily even though I had average or better growth.

I check yearly. I like a big surprise...it's like an Xmas gift to myself every year when I do my length check around the holidays. It also serves to renew my comittment to my HHJ!

Measure....like with a ruler? NEVER....

I check the length every 3 or more months by stretching the back and letting hubby snap a pic or two after a wash....then I compare the pics whenever I get time.......Once I didn't check it for like 8 months....
I AM obsessed with taking pictures of new styles I do...

I measure with a ruler about every 6-12 months. Since starting these challenges, I take length pics every month, which has been a good thing because I never knew how much/little my hair grows each month.
