I am relaxed and recently discovered that my hair is a mixture of 3c and 4a. I thought I had some 4b setions around the nape of my neck, but upon closer inspection the coils in that area are not as tight as I thought.

I usually wear my hair in curly or wavy styles so I will comb it on the days I have class (two days per week) and on the weekend and finger comb & fluff the curls or waves with my hands on the remaining days of the week so that I can keep the curl definition. I like "big" hair

and I've noticed less shedding overall since I stopped combing everyday.

I'm a natural 4a. If I am wearing my hair in a braidout, I will wash/condition/detangle and comb. Then once I undo my braids the next day, I won't comb my hair again for five days. Then I start all over again and won't comb my hair again for five days.

If I press my hair, I will comb it every day in the morning.

I comb my hair every 4 days or so. I'm usually in a twistout or rollerset, so all I have to do is fingercomb in the morning.

I'm 3c/4a and texturized.

I'm a texturized 3c/4a and I use a K-cutter 3-4 times a week when I do conditioner rinses. When my hair is dry, I don't use anything at all. Only when it's wet.

me too I try not to comb my hair when its dry, when my hair is damp the comb glides through a lot better
