How much do you pay for a relaxer touch up?

Too much!!!!!!!!!!!!
$60 every 6 weeks was no joke but now that I'm stretching to 12 weeks and beyond it does not seems that bad. Hopefully when i get to 20 weeks I'll spend that on average of twice a year so I can spend the rest of my money shopping!!!!!!!!

When I used to go the stylist I would end up paying $75 for a touch up and trim (which I didn't need). Nowadays that $75 goes towards paying for my Vitale relaxer and more haircare products!

$45 for touch up (I bring my own relaxer), deep con with heat (I bring my own deep con) and set (she roller sets my hair, I dry at home).

Or I pay $50 for touch up, deep con and wrap. (she charges me an extra $5 to wrap my hair cause its what she considers long).

I get off cheap. Here in Charlotte I pay $25 for a touchup.

BUT that's because I leave wet and style it myself at home when she's done. Otherwise, for a relaxer and rollerset I pay $45.

$90....thats a lot to me
Arizona, i pay $90 too. I get a phyto relaxer which has done wonders for my hair. i have been stretching a lot longer now that i am educated on hair care. The funny thing is, it actually equals out (money wise) to what i was paying for affirm when i relaxed every 6 weeks. Healthier hair, same amount of money spent...im sold!!

I went to the salon today and noticed that she did raise her prices. A touch up use to be $50, but now it's $65. So what I got today was a touch up: $65, a moisture dc: $12 and I tipped her $3 to make it even. So in all it was $80. But I have paid more than that before. I know back at home in Indiana a relaxer, style, and dc only would cost me $45. So it's been a nice little jump for me here in Houston.

She charges $65, but I tip her $20.

I only get touchups 3 times a year though, so it's not too bad.

$20 tip? damn she must hook ur hair up..lol nah I'm probably just cheap

I used to pay anywhere from $45 to $60. It depended on which salon I went to. That included a trim and a dc/treatment.

I pay $25 for a relaxer. Mostly all Dominican salons charge $25 to put a relaxer in your hair.

$10-$18 for a rollerset. ($15 on average)

I usually get curls on relaxer days so they charge me $35 for flat twists and curls in the back.

I can't wait to go back to my old stylist and end my six month stretch January 8th. Hoping I am at bra-strap. I was at arm pit in July, but I have too much shrinkage now and I don't use heat and have been bunning since September. Anyway, she charges $65 for a relaxer, deep con and roller set, but she smiles and gives me no grief when I give her instructions and does not pressure me to relax more frequently. She does shake her head and smile when she sees me coming -- but I understand. :) ("No trims, no overlapping, please take it out now!"). I just am not brave enough to self relax after I stretch 6 months. Maybe if I did it every 12 weeks. The most I have ever paid is $120 (relaxer, deep con, trim, and rinse). I never went back to that one because she cut 4 inches off my hair -- and to make it worse, it was uneven and the day before my graduation!

As a newbie, I think I've got everyone beat. I pay $95 not including a tip. :cry3: I thought about going to someone else but my stylist has helped me get my hair in the best shape ever. My hair has never felt so silky with a perm. The good thing is I only go every 4 months.
