How much conditioner do you use for conditioner washes and deep conditioning?
I am a slatherer but I notice some of my stlists have used much less with some great results.I just try to make sure every strand of hair is fed!
I noticed after my last touch up that they use WAY MORE conditioner at the wash bowl before the combout than I do in the shower -- 5 or 6 palmfulls to my 2. They use so much that the conditioner starts to lather. Can't complain, as my hair is really slippery and combs through easily at the washbowl.
Maybe I'm stingy with it? I'm trying out Biolage detanling solution conditioner soon, but it's expensive! I'm gonna want to skimp.
i use alot too probably cause i can't see if every strained is conditioned or not, unlike a hair dresser who is standing over you could. i think its normal for people to go through conditioner quicker than shampoo
I use tons of conditioner. I want to make sure every strand is covered.
I used to notice at the hair salon, they do seem to use a lot less. Not sure how they do it...
I use tons also. I apply sum to the ends first. Then I'll section the hair vertically (many sections), apply to new growth, length, then ends (again). When finished, I'll apply to top hair.
By using this method, I'm sure that each & every strand is properly drenched with conditioner
I know u didn't ask for all of dat... I'm in a "long winded" mood tonight
I love to slather as well, but for when I'm applying conditioner before the gym, I use just a little bit and really make sure it's rubbed into my hair and found that I apply it much better when I'm going to the gym. My hair has been much softer of late, as such, I've decided to use less and really concentrate on making sure it's "in" there and not just sitting on top. I've also taken Peachtree's suggestion of apply it to dry hair and prefer this method.
