I will be. I love my kinky twist in the summer. So easy to put in and take out and manageable. Just get up and go! Plus im always guranteed excellent growth. I will switch back to my sew-in's (straight or wet n wavy) depending on what the event is. Otherwise, kinky twist it is.

ETA: $150-185 to braid some hair? smh. They are not even right for that. I thought paying $80 was already ridiculous.

I pay $220 to get braids or twists. I get mine done at this shop run by African women in Northern VA and I heard they were quoting other people $160. I tried to get that price, but she said because my is so long they were charging me extra. :(

Im getting some individuals... I dont like the braids too much but transitioning is kicking by butt so Imma try to keep them in for 2 months... I really wanna keep them in til Sept when I will be 1 yr natural but I got to be realistic with myself!

If I can afford it, I'll definitely get kinky twists. I love to be able to just get up and go!

I am getting my braids touched up and from the set I had but in 3/15/2008 and I will be leaving this set in until the end of June. Then I will let my hair rest two weeks and then get some kinky twist.

That's the going rate most places between $150 and $200.

I have a sew in with lacing braids right now. I plan to take it down in June, deep condition for about 2 weeks, and co wash, and let my scalp and edges breathe. Then start them back up. I use to get rid of a sew-in, so soon. But actually like them.
